Ghathia Recipe


Ingredients:

1.1/2 kg Wheat(gehun) Flour
2.11/2 cups Water (paani)
3.1/2 tsp Ajwain
4.2 tbsp Oil (tel)
5.Oil for frying as required
6.Salt(namak)as per taste

How to make ghathia:

1.Add oil, ajwain and salt to the flour and mix.
2.Add cold water and knead the hard dough.
3.Make a roll of the whole dough and make round flat chapatti.
4.With the help of a knife cut long strips.
5.Heat oil in a deep-bottomed pan on high flame.
6.Pour these strips in the oil from the edge of the pan.
7.When golden brown and crisp, remove from the oil with the help of a sieve.
8.Pour on the tissue paper so that excess oil is soaked.
9.Cool and store in an airtight container.
