To the point: Delhi metro's ladies compartment is a blessing in disguise where you have the privilege of skipping through the crowds and avoid men's body odour. But, with these advantages come many drawbacks as well because sometimes women can be equally annoying as men. Here are some of our observation of the women who travel in the ladies compartment of the metro.
1. Discussing Private Conversations Out Loud!
There's a reason why private conversations are done in solitude but women who travel in the ladies compartment literally have no restraint to what they talk about on their phone calls. Not just that, but you could also hear about the intimate details of their life out loud because they definitely don't care how loud they are, they just need to put their point across to their boyfriends, mothers, whomsoever. And we really need to stop doing it ladies!
2. Eating Stinky Food
If the metro says 'No food allowed inside' then there must be a logical reason for it because even though your food is odourless, the smell passes across the entire boogie. And the smell that comes out from your boxes is defiling so next time you open your lunch boxes keep that in mind.
3. Making Seating Space When There's No Space
Squeezing yourselves in, and telling people to move and make space like you own the metro isn't just rude but super annoying as well. You not only sit uncomfortably yourself but also make sure others are seated in an uncomfy position. So, the next time you're asking someone to shift a bit to make space for you to sit, think twice and imagine how you would feel if the same was done to you.
4. Peeking Into Others Phone Screens
Let's not even begin with how cringy and unhuman this is because peeking into another person's phone and knowing who they're texting or what they're watching is definitely crossing the lines. Why so? Well, to simply put it- NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!
5. Entering The Metro Before Letting Others Getting Off
I'm sure most of us can relate to that and are even guilty of this act, as at some point of time we've also rushed to the doors without letting the folks inside step out. Well, nevertheless this is total stupidity and definitely a lack of manners that we need to learn and implement the next time we go in.
6. Sitting In The Midst Of The Metro Floor
Sitting at the end is one thing, but there are some ladies who also happen to randomly sit in the middle of the floor. It doesn't just interrupt people who have to go from one corner to the other but is also super unhygienic ladies. Imagine how much germs you'll be carrying when you go home.
