Apple launches its most powerful MacBook Pro laptop

Apple has introduced a new range of MacBook Pro laptops with 8th-generation and 9th-generation Intel Core processors. The new 15-inch Apple MacBook Pro now comes with 6-core and 8-core processor options with Turbo Boost speeds of up to 5 GHz. On the other hand, the new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar features faster quad-core processors with Turbo Boost speeds up to 4.7 GHz.
This is for the first time that Apple is bring an octa-core processor to the MacBook Pro lineup. The 8-core option processor option is only available with the 15-inch MacBook Pro. Apple claims that the 8-core processor model to be the “fastest Mac notebook ever” and states that it offers 40% more performance than a 6-core MacBook Pro.
New Apple MacBook Pro India prices
The new MacBook Pro lineup starts at Rs 1,59,900 for the 13-inch with Touch Bar model while the 15-inch version will come at a starting price of Rs 1,99,900. The new range will be available in India starting this week itself at Apple Authorised Resellers.
The MacBook Pro lineup now comes in a range of configurations depending the performance demand of the user. Apart from the processor, others specs are similar. The new range features Retina display with 500 nits of brightness, support for the P3 wide colour gamut and True Tone technology. There are stereo speakers with wide-stereo sound along with Touch ID which secure the notebook with fingerprints. The MacBook Pro also features SSD storage along with Apple T2 Security Chip and Thunderbolt 3 ports for data transfer, charging and connecting up to two 5K displays or four external GPUs.
All new Macs come with macOS Mojave operating system which brings Dark Mode along with apps including News, Stocks, Voice Memos and Home to the Mac and features a redesigned Mac App Store.
